Scarborough Performers are Hitting the Big Time

On April 29, Melissa Arleth (Cirque du Sewer) appeared on CBS’ “David Letterman Show.” Arleth is the “Acro-bat with Acro-Rats” combining acrobatics, fire and a rat circus that together perform amazing feats of balance and skill. Tuesday, May 27, the Kamikaze FireFlies are scheduled to compete on NBC’s “America’s Got Talent.” The Kamikaze FireFlies will perform gravity-defying acrobats and stunts combined with gut-busting laughs. Plus, they hold numerous world records as documented by the Guinness Book of World Records. The Fireflies are no stranger to the national spotlight as they have also appeared on the “Tonight Show” and Off Broadway. The Kamikaze FireFlies will be performing at Scarborough Renaissance Festival® for two more weekends through May 4. The 34th Annual Scarborough Renaissance Festival® is now open and runs every Saturday and Sunday rain or shine, from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. through Memorial Day on Monday, May 26. Scarborough Renaissance Festival® is interactive family fun - 16th century style!
