Expose on improving leadership based on Book of Nehemiah
HAMILTON PARISH, Bermuda (PRWEB) September 12, 2014 -- Rev. Georgette V. Prime-Godwin discusses leadership approaches based on Biblical principles in her enlightening book “The Nehemiah Prototype” (published by Xlibris). It serves to provide its reader with an inverted approach to organizational growth and that is, to identify, build and empower its human resource to take ownership of the organization’s vision and mission, by infusing insight and the practical approaches found in the Book of Nehemiah.
Having served as a leader in both the church and corporate world for 20 years, Rev. Prime-Godwin has seen commonalities within each. She believes that in the life of an organization, there is always bound to be a disconnection between leaders and followers; pastors and congregations; CEO and employees. With careful examination, there are ministries that are unchanged and unfruitful, organizations with employees who have become nonproductive, which ultimately hits its bottom line. The question is asked; “…How then do we inspire a voluntary congregation [employee] to remain focused on the church [organization] and its mission? How do we inspire the leaders of the church [organization] to lead, in particular, with fortitude and integrity?...”
“The Nehemiah Prototype” embraces Nehemiah’s strategy used to rebuild the walls and reform the people in record time. It provides a systematic approach to help the reader identify the cause of its breaches, facilitate a plan to repair or shore up the breaches and a follow up process that facilitates an ongoing maintenance plan for that which has been established.
