Riley Maylon Makes Literary Debut with New Romantic Thriller
BRISBANE, Australia (PRWEB) April 08, 2015 -- Mason, an undercover FBI agent, is resigned to a life unlived. With his undercover work being the only thing he has in life, he commits himself to it fully. This changes, when he meets Ruby, a woman who ignites within him a passion he thought dead. There’s only one problem: she’s associated with the Russian mafia.
Author Riley Maylon makes her literary debut with her new novel, “The Fox and the Firefly” (published by Balboa Press AU), which follows Mason on a romance-riddled journey of action and deceit through the enthralling city of New Orleans.
Viktor Nolikov is a power player within the Russian mafia and owner of The Red Fox, the bar where Ruby bartends. Through his undercover work, Mason finds himself in the middle of The Red Fox, where he meets Ruby and quickly falls in love. Mason knows the bar is the alleged front for Viktor Nolikov – a dangerous mobster with an equally dangerous family – and the mafia. Despite this, he still falls for Ruby and her fiery spirit and positive outlook on life.
Throughout “The Fox and the Firefly,” readers will watch as Mason struggles to decide whether Ruby is the woman of his dreams, or his ultimate undoing. Through a twist of fate, he and Ruby will wind up in an inevitable showdown with Viktor and the Russians.
Maylon hopes her book will reignite in readers their passion for life and love.
