RE/MAX Realtor Roberta Steckler Stresses It’s a Seller’s Market
Greenwood Village, CO (PRWEB) March 04, 2016 -- Real estate agent Roberta Stecker advises the community that the market is perfect to promote homeownership. According to the RISMedia article, people who have been waiting to buy a home should wait no longer, and for sellers, it’s a seller’s market. “If you are planning on selling your home in 2016, this may be the perfect time to put your home on the market,” said RE/MAX Realtor Roberta Steckler. “Inventory is low so houses are selling quickly, most with multiple offers so sellers are maximizing their profits.”
Buyers, adds Steckler, are concerned that there may not be a lot of houses on the market in 2016, so they are ready to “rock and roll” as soon as a home hits the market. Additionally, interest rates are predicted to rise in 2016, which is a motivating factor for buyers to buy now as interest rates are currently low.
Another factor spurring this optimal market is job growth. In fact, according to the RISMedia article, year-over-year job growth rates are up 1.88 percent, with 2.65 million new jobs created in the last year.
“Fuel cost is another factor, as fuel costs are down significantly,” said Steckler. “Lower energy costs allow people to afford higher mortgage payments.”
