Starting his career as a model in May 2004, he is officially celebrating 10 years in the business with a celebration with his New York agency Wilhelmina. He has walked runways internationally for Armani, Etro, Chanel, Lagerfeld, Louis Vuitton and John Galliano. Romulo Pires has been the face of many advertising campaigns and editorials. In 2012, he was the face of the Smalto Fall/Winter advertising campaign. Smalto is a Parisian luxury goods and jewelry company founded by Francesco Smalto. In Spring that same year he was featured in the H&M Men’s Spring 2012 advertising campaign along with Garrett Neff and Jake Davies. In November, 2011, Romulo shot an editorial titled, “Warriors” for Client Magazine with photographer Richard Phibbs. He also worked with Robbie Fimmano in 2010 for Details Magazine’s editorial titled, “At Ease.”

Since that time, Romulo has worked on high-profile campaigns for Target, Cartier, Uniqlo, Animale, Clarins, ckOne Fragrance, and Christian Lacroix’s Absynthe Fragrance. He is represented by agencies around the globe. Romulo’s Work with Celebrities

Romulo has worked with some of the most highly-respected photographers and fashion designers on the planet, as well as legendary celebrities like Madonna for an editorial in W Magazine in 2009, shot by photographer Steven Klein. In 2006 he appeared in an ad for Pepe Jeans with Sienna Miller. He has also worked with icons Monica Belucci and Gisele Bundchen.
