Internet Marketing Agency Ajax Union Awards Complimentary Press Release to Film Production Company Ideas In Motion
Brooklyn, NY (PRWEB) July 04, 2013 -- Online marketing company Ajax Union announces its most recent complimentary press release recipient, Ideas In Motion. The marketing company often awards prizes to attendees of its networking events, webinars, and seminars.
Jim Graniela, video director and CEO of Ideas In Motion, attended an Ajax Union networking event in order to meet with other small business owners. His company is currently working on securing funding for new documentary films, including “On the Wings of Freedom,” “Once Around,” “Thunderings,” and a TV show about homelessness.
“I started my career working for Orson Welles after graduating from the School of Visual Arts in 1977 and have worked in the film and video production industry, as well as the technology industry, helping to develop the first online producing bidding system. Now, as an independent small business owner, I have the chance to create projects that I’m truly passionate about, and I hope others will help me tell these stories,” said Graniela.
“On the Wings of Freedom” centers around seven immigrants and aims to put a face on immigration in order to create positive awareness. “Once Around” focuses on New York City in the 1960s and what life was like for Graniela’s own Puerto Rican family. The film tackles racism, drugs, daily struggles, death, and the political changes Maria was implementing. “Thunderings” takes place in New York City’s Lower East Side during the 1970s. The film follows the lives of five troubled youth who live in the Lazarus Community, a settlement house run by an Irish immigrant priest named Father Roland. The film presents the battle that the Lazarus Community fights as Father Roland tries to expand the settlement to a house and land donated by Mrs. Daily in Glenhaven, Connecticut.
Ideas In Motion is also planning to create a show about homelessness -- featuring interviews with homeless people about where and how they live -- designed to tell their stories and ultimately help them rebuild their lives.
“We’d like to extend our congratulations to Jim on winning a press release and wish him luck with all his film projects. At Ajax Union we always love helping businesses grow, whether it’s through one of our complimentary eBooks, by winning a prize at our networking events, or even by signing up for one of our marketing plans,” said Joe Apfelbaum, CEO of Ajax Union.
