Mr. Tobias Nergarden, the director of the Real Estate Marketing Insider online journal offered his advice to real estate agents and professionals across North America about Search Engine Optimization (SEO) tools. Tobias announced his belief that SEO tools are an important part of any real estate marketing strategy, and should figure in both an office’s advertising plan and its yearly budget.

Search Engine Optimization tools are online implements that help web designers and copywriters design websites for the highest possible position in search results for relevant terms. For example, real estate agents’ websites might utilize SEO to feature prominently in searches for “realtor,” “real estate marketing”, or “buy real estate leads.” In a June 28 press release from online advertising developer ARME Realty it was announced that they had released for purchase a brand new set of SEO tools designed for real estate professionals. Called by some experts as the “golden goose” of real estate SEO, the toolkit features web building tools that can construct fully-functional websites, social media tie-ins, and other innovative new technologies. What’s more, the new toolkit has been proven to work. Brokers who participated in the beta testing process reported a threefold increase in web traffic over a period of 90 days.

Mr. Nergarden released this statement regarding SEO:

“Search Engine Optimization is an important part of any real estate business. With more clients and prospective homebuyers beginning their property search online, the position in a Google or Bing search can make a difference between a call from a new client and a silent phone. SEO is an investment and is best left to professionals. Realtors who are serious about growing their online business should involve professionals to perfect their website’s SEO.”

The Real Estate Marketing Insider’s Tobias Nergarden released a statement affirming his position on SEO for real estate websites. Tobias stated that SEO is an important part of any realtor’s business plan, and is a vital investment for growing a realtor’s online presence.
