SaltStack Customers and Engineers Demonstrate Automation for All the Data Center Things
Salt Lake City (PRWEB) June 24, 2014 -- SaltStack, creators of systems management software stack for server configuration, data center infrastructure automation, and cloud orchestration, today announced SaltStack customers and engineers will be speaking this week at conferences from London to Silicon Valley. The talks explain how SaltStack software is used to manage all the data center things and to automate tedious IT operations and development tasks.

Velocity Santa Clara
Tonight at Velocity Santa Clara, Mike Place, SaltStack software engineer, has been invited to give an Ignite talk titled, "Friends don't let friends get container sprawl." The quick talk will address the rapid proliferation of container technology and suggest various options to help avoid the same scenario that beset many virtualized environments. Some of the concepts presented in Mike’s talk can be seen in action in this demonstration of SaltStack rapidly deploying and managing Docker containers at scale.
The Velocity Ignite talks are scheduled for Tuesday, June 24 from 7:30 – 9:00pm, at the Santa Clara, Calif. Convention Center.
DevOps Summit London
DevOps Summit London will be held on Thursday, June 26, and focuses on DevOps adoption in the enterprise and will promote efficient teams, process, technology and will address new challenges. Sym Roe and Ash Berlin of the UK Ministry of Justice will talk about how the MoJ does DevOps and how they use SaltStack to automate various aspects of their development and operations work. Their talk titled, How MoJ does DevOps,” will be given at 16:00 on the 26th.
