Sanctri Announces Release of Online Memorial App for Android and iPhones
New York, NY (PRWEB) July 02, 2014 -- Sanctri announced today that their increasingly popular Facebook app for creating online memorials is now available as a free app for Android and iPhones.
With over 10,000 Facebook users dying every day, there is growing public discussion about the interaction between social media and dying. Recently, news outlets including Mashable, the Huffington Post, and ABC News have addressed the issue.
According to Josef Katz, VP Marketing, “Sanctri is the fastest growing app for the creation of online memorials. People of all ages and all around the globe are using our app to memorialize those they’ve lost and to join the social media conversation surrounding someone who has died. Sanctri allows everyone to contribute their own memories, stories, photos, videos, songs and more to create an online celebration of the life that has ended. So when our users asked us to make the app available for both iPhones and Android devices, we listened.”
The new apps are the first free-standing versions of the app to be released. The native Facebook version of the app has been available since December 2013.
Apps for tablets are scheduled for later this summer. The iPhone version is available from the iTunes store, and the Android version in the Google Play store. Both are available from Sanctri.com.
