Chicagoland Realtor Sandy Amidei-Locascio, who recently marked her 15th year with RE/MAX, has pledged to donate a portion of each of her closings for a year to the Zacharias Sexual Abuse Center. The mission of the center, founded in 1983, is to end sexual assault and abuse.

“The Zacharias Sexual Abuse Center offers free counseling and advocacy services to survivors of sexual abuse, guiding them on their healing journey,” said Sandy. “It’s an honor to support the center and help them fulfill their mission and provide quality care.”

Staff, volunteers, interns and donors of the Zacharias Sexual Abuse Center work together to provide invaluable services, educational programs and trainings throughout the community. “We are a relationship-centered, community-conscious and results-oriented organization,” said Stephanie Garrity, the Zacharias Center’s director of stewardship and development. “I encourage everyone to follow Sandy’s lead and either donate or volunteer their time to help end sexual violence.”

In addition to her philanthropy, which includes literally taking to the streets to feed and clothe the homeless, Sandy is a full-time real estate professional. She is a RE/MAX Platinum Club Award recipient who specializes in residential listings, buyers, first-time buyers, short sales and rentals. Prior to becoming a Realtor, Sandy worked in the medical field, as she loves working with and helping people. “The best times are when you can make a difference in the community and reach out and help someone in need,” said Sandy.
