Santa Cruz Rug Cleaners Celebrates Sixty-Seven Years and New Location

They celebrate sixty-seven years this year in addition to their first year anniversary at their new location one block behind the Costco at 111 #C Dubois St., Santa Cruz in California.
In honor of their anniversary, they will be offering a 50% cash and carry discount from now until the end of April. A 40% cash and carry has always been a service Santa Cruz Rug Cleaners has offered their customers, but for the first time since they opened in 1947, they are offering a 50% off discount to commemorate the anniversary.
“We have third generation customers coming to us. We know the parents, children, even their pets, so they are much more like family than clients. That kind of ongoing relationship is important to us,” said co-owner Kim Adams.
In 2006, Santa Cruz Rug Cleaners earned the highest designation the rug cleaning industry has to offer, the Master Rug Cleaner. They are the only company in Northern California to achieve this gold standard in training and certification. This certification was a yearlong program where participants integrated hands-on old-world “Armenian” rug cleaning secrets along with practical modern day techniques. Each graduate must pass an extensive examination that includes identifying over 30 different rugs from around the world.
In addition, Bill and Kim Adams support the community through various events and non-profits. Recently, Santa Cruz Rug Cleaners participated in the local business fair on March 19th at the Coconut Grove and they will be sponsoring an upcoming May 17th event for The Nest at Freedom House, a non-profit organization providing a safe home and long-term aftercare for survivors of human-trafficking.
