Multi-Tech Systems Adds Scott Nelson to Advisory Board

Dr. Nelson, chief technology officer and executive vice president enterprise growth for Logic PD, is responsible for leveraging Logic PD’s technology expertise, business modeling capabilities and user understanding across a wide range of markets to create market platforms for connected solutions and the Internet of Things (IoT). Dr. Nelson brings nearly 25 years of experience leading technology and product development to the advisory board.

Since joining Logic PD in 2000, Dr. Nelson has helped lead the organization in strategy and offerings for strong year-over-year sales growth. Prior to joining Logic PD Dr. Nelson worked at Honeywell for 12 years in various research and leadership positions in the Honeywell Technology Center and the Home and Building Controls division. He holds a Ph. D. and a M.S. in Applied and Engineering Physics, and minors in Business Administration and Physical Chemistry from Cornell University and a B.A. from St. Olaf College. Dr. Nelson has authored or co-authored of over a dozen published papers and numerous conference presentations and holds a number of both issued and pending patents in a variety of fields.
