The Seaside Award is an annual accolade that’s awarded to one Seaside Vacations’ employee who represented the company in an exemplary manner and has the following qualities: consistent positive attitude, is a team player, helpful, dependable, highly self-motivated, and demonstrates the core Seaside Vacations’ values.
Established in 2012, the winner of the Seaside Award is announced at the company’s annual Christmas party in mid-December. Each Seaside Vacations employee is given the opportunity to vote for one person to win the annual award. In addition to being honored at the party, each Seaside Award winner receives a custom plaque and has their named added to a separate plaque that’s displayed in Seaside Vacations’ front lobby.
“Although I’ve only been part of the Seaside Vacations team for a short period of time, I feel like everyone has become my second family,” said Bob Spaulding. “I am a big proponent of time management and believe that if you can manage your time, you’ll find that you have more of it than you could ever ask for.”
Bob is the manager of Seaside Vacations' Laundry Department and had a significant role in making the entire department more efficient last year.
