‘Bosco the Beagle’ learns value of friendship in new book
GLEN ALLEN, Va. (PRWEB) September 02, 2014 -- Written in rhyming form, the new children’s story “Bosco the Beagle” (published by Trafford Publishing) by Sharon Stancil Howard shows the strong bond that can exist between humans and animals.
Bosco the Beagle was the smallest in his litter of puppies. He wanted to hunt with his siblings, but, because of his size, was never included. One day, he was discovered by a little boy named Beanie and the two became instant friends. From that point on, every day was an adventure.
Howard says she wrote her book to show readers that love, acceptance and friendship transcend all cultures and boundaries.
An excerpt from “Bosco the Beagle”:
“For Beanie showed Bosco that
it’s okay to be small
There’s less distance to the ground
should you stumble and fall.”
