There are times in everyone’s life when one feels as if life is not worth living and that everything one does ends in failure. That one is a nobody that can never amount to anything. This could be due to a multitude of reasons, such as feelings of insecurity or frustration with one’s lot in life. In “AUTOBIOGRAPHY OF A NOBODY”, author Sherrill Lynn Dix has written a truly inspiring read that shows everyone that life is worth living, one needs only the right mindset.
This is an honest account of the author’s life. It tells of her early childhood and school years as she was growing up. It also tells of her years as an adult and her marriage and eventual divorce. The author tells of how remarkable the experience was for her, for although it was a sad experience it still helped her grow as a person.
The book also shows that the year 1980 was a key point in her life due to the fact that she was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis and that it changed her life drastically. With her not being able to do the things she used to do, Dix gradually found the strength to move on and find herself again. With a newfound love for life, she was able to adapt to her condition, travel and even find love again. She wrote this book in order to inspire others to be happy with themselves and to live life to the fullest.
“AUTOBIOGRAPHY OF A NOBODY” is testaments to one woman’s strength of will and love for life. It is also proof to everyone that one does not need to be rich or famous to be happy.
