"We as people face issues and challenges every day. Sharing the reality of that through word expression is relieving,” said author Troy Legette. “My personal space and time is where I open myself up to a world where nothing else matters—a space and time where I grew the courage to share with others.”
In “Social Climax” (published by Xlibris), he draws on the power of creative word crafting to sooth his soul to create a collection of poems reflecting his various life experiences, conversations and personal expressions. Most were created at times when he was alone, going through difficult times, or overcoming challenges. It is an accumulation of work throughout the years beginning 1998 to present. It is a body of work meant to make readers think, learn and grow.
In reading and absorbing the contents of his book, Legette means for his works to stand as a gateway to a new world—the world of the unimagined—and, in finding themselves in this world, he hopes that his readers will find the spark of inspiration.
