Solomon Associates Names Russell Brown Vice President of Business Development in Europe
Dallas, TX (PRWEB) April 15, 2014 -- Solomon Associates, the leading performance improvement company for the global energy industry, announced today that Russell Brown, former Vice President of Consulting, is taking on a new role as Vice President of Business Development in Europe.
Brown has relocated from the United States to the UK to assist Solomon’s UK-based clients in using the company’s benchmarking data and consulting services to maximize profits. His focus will be on clients in the power generation, upstream, refining, and petrochemicals industries.
“Since joining Solomon in 2006, Russell has been instrumental in upholding the integrity of our consulting processes and finding innovative solutions for clients worldwide,” said Dale Emanuel, President of Solomon Associates. “His abilities to discover issues, define problems, and find solutions using thorough and respectful interview techniques are assets we believe will be instrumental in expanding our client base in Europe.”
In his previous role as Solomon’s Vice President of Consulting, Brown was responsible for overseeing all Solomon consulting work in refining/lubes, chemicals, pipelines, and power. He also developed a monetization business model for Solomon’s intellectual property.

Prior to joining Solomon Associates, Brown spent 5 years as Director of Advanced Process Control at URS Corporation, a worldwide provider of engineering, construction, and technical services. Brown also worked at Pavilion Technologies as Manager of Power Systems Engineering and at ConocoPhillips as a Senior Engineer.
Brown is a graduate of Texas A&M University, where he earned bachelor’s, master’s, and doctorate degrees in Chemical Engineering.
