Sonru to Present Latest Video Interviewing Data Insights at CIPD conference in London
Wexford, Ireland (PRWEB UK) 17 June 2015 -- Sonru, a global leader and pioneer of video interviewing, recently released volume 5 of their hugely popular white paper on the candidate experience entitled: "200,000 Insights on the Candidate Experience of Video Interviewing." The findings of this research will be presented by Sonru CEO & Founder, Ed Hendrick at the CIPD conference in London on Thursday June 18th 2015.
The research presents insights into the user data of over 200,000 randomly selected interviews completed on the Sonru system along with the findings from over 30,000 respondents who have volunteered to complete a survey (on awareness, attitudes and actual experience of video interviews). The survey was made available to all candidates completing automated video interviews for Sonru clients between May 2011 and May 2015.
An addition to the fifth volume was the grouping of the findings over four years since Sonru began to formally collect candidate feedback. The insights clearly demonstrate the steady evolution of video interviewing since 2011.
Commenting on the latest version of the white paper’s publication, Ed Hendrick, Founder & CEO of Sonru said “Sonru’s ethos has always been candidate-centric and feedback has always been hugely positive. Together with our support white papers, we can provide clients and potential users with evidence of the positive impact in adopting innovative technology into their recruitment process.”
Highlights of the presentation include:
• With respect to respondent demographics, the four year intervals provided some interesting findings such as an increase in the proportion of candidates from the older age groups, a closing of the gender gap as well as more varied roles other than the original staples of service and technical roles. All findings point towards video interviewing becoming more and more mainstream.
• The flexibility offered to candidates to choose the time and place of the interview emerged as the key benefits. The majority of respondents (86%) completed their video interviews from home.
• Mobile completion is also growing with over one quarter of Sonru candidates (26%) completing their interviews on mobile devices.
• Almost two thirds (60%) of Sonru interviews are completed outside of business hours with the majority (51%) interviewing over the weekend.
• 83% of respondents were satisfied with the Overall Candidate Experience. The majority of respondents (94%) felt sufficiently informed about what was required prior to starting the interview again pointing towards video interviewing becoming more mainstream.
Ed will present the findings of the research at the CIPD conference in his session “Clients Know Best - Big Data Analysis of Video Interviewing”. The session will take place at 2:15pm as part of the Free Learning Timetable at the CIPD Recruitment Exhibition at the Olympia, Blythe Road, London. A copy of volume 5 of the white paper can be downloaded from the Sonru website.
