Spine Team Texas Expands Locations and Adds Providers During 10th Year Anniversary
Southlake, TX (PRWEB) August 14, 2014 -- Spine Team Texas, provider of world-class spine care, responds to patient demand by expanding their Fort Worth-Alliance clinic, opening a new clinic in Bedford, Texas, and hiring a physiatrist and two physician assistants. The comprehensive spine center is experiencing growth during their tenth year since opening the flagship clinic in Southlake in 2004. The unique philosophy of Spine Team Texas has remained consistent over the last decade: provide innovative and conservative spine care. The team has consistently practiced spine care with the philosophy that all nonsurgical options be explored before surgical intervention is considered (as a last resort) or when medically necessary. “The goal for Spine Team Texas is to explore the best treatment option for long-term spine pain management. If non-surgical treatments do not provide long term relief, then surgical intervention is explored (as a last resort or when medically necessary), with minimally invasive surgical techniques incorporated whenever possible,” says David Rothbart, MD, Spine Team Texas neurosurgeon, founder, and medical director.
“When we opened the Fort Worth-Alliance clinic last year, we knew the area needed more spine-specialty services for the projected residential growth in north Tarrant County,” said Mark Hood, CEO of Spine Team Texas. “We’ve enjoyed the welcome from the community. As a result, we’ve tripled the office capacity to more efficiently care for our spine patients.”
Spine Team Texas also recognized a need to expand their comprehensive model in nearby Bedford, Texas, and will open a clinic there next month. That expansion led to the hiring of Dr. Eric Coligado (full bio below). As a physiatrist, Dr. Coligado provides initial consultations for patients suffering with neck or back pain. He is certified to complete EMG/nerve conduction studies that assist to diagnose the root cause of spine problems, assess potential damage and severity of damage to nerves related to musculoskeletal problems.
Two physician assistants (bios below) will also provide comprehensive spine care to Spine Team Texas patients. Gayle Rogers, PA-C, will extend the physician services at the Fort Worth-Alliance clinic full-time; Stephanie Hays, PA-C, will work full-time at the Rockwall clinic. Both were carefully selected from an extensive pool of potential candidates as their education and experience complement the Spine Team Texas model; their dedication to providing exceptional patient care mirrors the existing providers of Spine Team Texas.
