Stephen Little & CLARO are Proud to Announce the 2nd Annual Swim Clinic, “Just Add SWIM”
Palm Desert, CA (PRWEB) April 10, 2014 -- Stephen Little, CEO of CLARO, established the Swim to Win Foundation in 2013, specifically to address the need for teaching all children about swimming and pool safety. As a USA Masters swimmer and past competitor, Steve is passionate about making the aquatic lifestyle fun and safe for everyone. “This had never been accomplished before. We had Olympians from every Olympic games between 1976-2012 teaching thousands of children water safety. It was amazing and we can’t wait to hold our second annual event this year on May 10th with even more Olympians joining in on the festivities,” said Stephen Little.
Olympians slated to teach at this year’s event are Janet Evans, Rowdy Gaines, Jason Lezak, Aaron Peirsol, Chloe Sutton, Brian Goodell, Rada Owen and Kaitlin Sandeno. The Olympians will also be available throughout the day to sign autographs. Finally at the end of the day they will have an inaugural event, “A DONOR and a CHAMPION” where donors will race against legendary swimmers in a contest of speed and style to benefit swimming programs in the Coachella Valley. Activities begin at 9:00am on Saturday May 10th. Those interested in participation need to call and make arrangements to be included in this clinic.
In addition to organizing and coordinating the May event “Just add SWIM”, Steve Little and CLARO will donate one Learn to Swim Scholarship with every new pool maintenance contract between now and May 31, 2014. The scholarships will be given to children through local swim clubs and the Family YMCA of the Desert. “I think it is important for businesses to give back. Join myself and CLARO and we can all help support swim safety programs, swimmers and healthy lifestyles,” said Mr. Little.
