Demonstrating how people over 50 can find confidence and rebuild their lives, “Metamorphosis: One Woman’s Journey to Find Serenity & Empowerment” (published by Balboa Press) shares author Sue Relihan’s story. At the height of her professional career, she found herself in a toxic, dysfunctional relationship which led her into a spiral of despair. After a near-death experience, she realized she needed to rebuild her life – an experience she shares in her new memoir.
“This memoir was written with the intention of sharing (my) story in order to inspire others by demonstrating that it’s possible to rebuild your life in your 40’s & 50’s,” Relihan says.
Encouraging others to look at and evaluate their own lives, Relihan hopes her experience shows others that rebuilding is possible. By surrounding oneself with dedicated and kind individuals, she is confident that one can find the empowerment they need to make lasting life changes.
“The story demonstrates how the reader can regain their self-confidence and build a highly satisfying new life by letting go of old habits and beliefs,” Relihan says. “(I) love to empower others in finding their purpose and establishing their own path.”
