Today at SunGard’s User Group (SNUG) Conference, One Call Now and SunGard K-12 Education will demonstrate SIF 2.0 integration and discuss the benefits the companies’ joint customers have already experienced. As one of the first SIF 2.0 certified agents in the message notification space, One Call Now provides end users an assurance of conformance and interoperability between SIF-certified products, including eSchoolPLUS.

The alliance between the two companies integrates SunGard K-12 Education’s PLUS 360 software solutions with the enhanced mass messaging capabilities provided by One Call Now, America’s largest message notification provider. School districts with SunGard K-12 Education’s solutions will now be able to keep parents and guardians informed about their students’ performance and quickly communicate in emergency situations.

Districts are already noticing the enhancements of this new partnership. eSchoolPLUS user Brad Randmark, director of technology and information services at Cicero School District in Cicero, Ill., said, “The integration was fast and painless. We shortened our non-emergency call time from over eight hours to less than an hour (based on the primary numbers of 13,500 students). We are very happy we switched to One Call Now.”
