TEK Industries Launches New Power Managers at ISC West 2016 in Booth 1046
Las Vegas, Nevada (PRWEB) April 05, 2016 -- TEK Industries LLC is introducing to the security industry the TEK Power Managers power management solution. Exhibiting at ISC West, the industry’s largest trade show, TEK Power Managers (patent pending) allow systems integrators to manage power for safety, security and productivity applications in existing and new specifications.
TEK Power Managers, a candidate in the Security Industry Association’s 2016 New Product Showcase, provides a simple and tangible way for systems integrators to add services and generate additional RMR. The UL-listed devices/enclosures, models TB-1.5 and TB-1.5L, integrate seamlessly with existing alarm, access control and building management or process control systems and solutions. With higher voltage components shielded to allow unrestricted access to low-voltage components by security technicians, TEK Power Managers can be easily incorporated into new and existing low voltage and higher voltage infrastructure. By combining Power Managers with traditional environmental or security systems and/or sensors, integrators and end-users can effectively control and monitor higher voltage circuits to create more efficient environments for a wide range of commercial and residential customers. They can be used to improve safety around dangerous machinery, increase operator productivity, or reduce electric energy consumption, in addition to many other specification possibilities.
"It’s such an exciting product for us to offer the systems integration community. We are impressed with the number of applications and integrations our sales and install partners continue to present for our Power Managers," said John M. Mullen, TEK Industries President. “Their enthusiasm fuels our commitment to provide products that support the dealer community in offering new services and to increase their RMR," Mullen said.
TEK Power Managers can easily be managed remotely via Internet or wireless connections, providing additional managed alarm and access control services and also reducing truck rolls and on-site customer visits. By connecting Power Managers to an alarm, access control or building management system, usage data can be recorded and monitored. Systems can also be programmed to send an email notification and SMS text alerts with information regarding status, events or usage, such as manual disconnect or unauthorized or unscheduled attempts to take the device in or out of service.
"Systems integrators can easily expand their business into new markets and provide Power Managers to existing customers, an extremely efficient way to add business without the high cost of customer creation,” said John Kuiken, National Product Manager. “However, it’s also highly suitable and attractive to new customers. There are a lot of end-users out there who feel their intrusion alarm, access control or video management systems has reached its full potential. Now integrators can go to those end-users with an integration that can provide unexpected benefits and ROI. TEK Power Managers make it easy to manage power with traditional systems and devices," Kuiken said.
