The Performance Group of Northern California (TPG), an award winning corporate meeting, event and incentive agency in the San Francisco Bay Area, is pleased to announce three new additions to its growing sales team.

We have been very intentional in bringing in a solid team with diverse and individual skills and strengths.

TPG is focused on growth with specific emphasis on new business development. To achieve set goals, TPG is aligning its sales efforts by bringing in new talent and promoting from within to create a dynamic sales culture. The individuals of the team each bring different sales strengths, business knowledge, and travel history.

Lori Ryan comes to TPG with over ten years’ experience at Creative Marketing Incentives (CMI) where she was an account manager handling the end-to-end details of luxury travel in exclusive resorts around the world for groups up to 4,000. Lori’s diversified experience includes strategic marketing and successful non-profit fundraising. She is known for delivering excellence and maintaining high standards. Lori exceeds expectations for both her internal and her external clients.

New to the industry and bringing a fresh perspective is Brian Ahern, an experienced sales and marketing professional who offers an outstanding record of achievement in driving critical performance objectives within a competitive selling environment. His areas of expertise encompass all facets of new business development and account management in several business verticals including technology, medical, and telecommunications. Brian has a proven ability to establish and meet rigorous client objectives, and he brings a reputation for superior performance, integrity, and results.

TPG has also promoted Laurie Miller to join the sales side of the organization. Laurie was previously a senior account manager, and she has over twenty years’ experience designing and operating incentive programs, meetings, and tradeshows for Fortune 100 companies. Laurie has been with TPG for over seven years, and her operations background gives her a working knowledge of client needs. Laurie also has hotel experience and has worked for both the Sheraton Hong Kong and the Sheraton Palace Hotel in San Francisco. Laurie has operated programs around the globe, and she is known both internally and externally for her vibrant personality.

TPG is excited about these talented additions, ones that reinforce its commitment to strategic sales growth and marketplace leadership. As part of a larger strategy that brings marketing, pre-sales, and new business development together, the diversified and balanced structure will embrace a team-selling approach which focuses on developing new portfolios of business.

“We have been very intentional in bringing in a solid team with diverse and individual skills and strengths, and we could not be more excited with the high-level and distinguished talent joining TPG. I’m confident that our team approach will position us for long-term success.” - Jen Pointer, VP of Sales & Marketing.
