V. Himark Announces the launch of Cactus Double Sided Film Tape Model L2990 to the Point-of-Purchase Industry

Himark Technology Company Ltd., announced today the launch of Cactus® model L2990, a double sided film tape specially designed for today’s progressive displays and POP materials, sign and awards manufacturers. The model L2990 was developed as and economical complement to the company’s top seller Y4960.
The high performance and top seller film tape Cactus Tape Y4960 is a UL Recognized component, the material has been tested to verify compliance with Underwriters Laboratories Standards and requirements. It has been sold to the building and construction, electronic, automotive and general industry markets for applications that require a double sided film tape with exceptional shear strength combined to high initial tack and high peel adhesion level, providing secure bonding results under high temperature conditions.
The newly introduced Cactus Double Sided Film Tape L2990 was specially designed to meet the needs of the POP Industry of a competitive double-sided film tape with the same performance characteristics offered by model Y4960, but with a more economical liner. L2990 is made for the most demanding POP bonding applications with a 3.75 mil solvent-based acrylic adhesive on both sides, PET film carrier, on mustard, glassine paper liner. L2990 offers excellent resistance to plasticizer migration, solvent, chemical and aging, and it is highly recommended for LSE substrates.
