Teldat Presented Its New Routers and Sponsored All of Telefónica's Central America Tecno Forums
Tres Cantos (Madrid), Spain (PRWEB) July 18, 2013 -- Teldat was chosen to be one of twelve sponsors that made up the Tecno Forum sales events that were organized by Telefónica in Central America. Indeed Teldat gained this position of event sponsor as it is a partner of Telefónica in Central America, as in other areas across the globe.
This was the third year that Tecno Forum was held in Central America and once again it proved to be a successful event for both, clients and the presenting companies, as the products and solutions that were presented fit well the diverse requirements of the local companies.
Of the five countries that held their national Tecno Forum events, El Salvador and Guatemala were the largest with Nicaragua, Panama and Costa Rica, not far behind. All these Tecno Forum events were held between May and June 2013.
Teldat, being one of the sponsors of the events, had its own stand on which clients and Teldat could meet up individually. This gave Teldat and the clients the opportunity to look at the new and consolidated products in detail and discuss the different solutions that could be deployed using Teldat devices in combination with Telefónica.
Apart from having its individual stand, Teldat at every event made presentations to an audience of visitors. Not only the Teldat products that are currently being sold by Telefónica, such as Atlas i60, H1-Auto+ and 3Ge were explained, but also the new range of Teldat products that have been launched recently were introduced.
The Atlas i60 ("cloud edge router") is one of the main products being sold in America and across the rest of the globe. The Atlas i60 is a smart enterprise branch office modular access router, as well as being a server appliance for on-the-cloud applications, that it makes available at the branch site. It also has an internal hard disk drive and a dual core CPU, which enables the Atlas i60 to offer real time performance for both the routing and application server tasks simultaneously. All this on one device, the Atlas i60!
Clients also showed great interest in the H1-Auto+. A rugged router that can be placed within vehicles, converting them into a connected site whilst in motion. The H1-Auto+ has solved all the problems that any router would encounter in this type of scenario. It can be powered directly by a vehicle battery, withstand vibrations, physical shock, as well as high and low temperatures. The H1-Auto+ has WiFi .11n., to not only act as a hot spot for travellers giving a huge added value, but also to upload/download information to/from the vehicle. The H1-Auto+ router enables two LTE / 4G 3G SIM cards to be installed, which permits back up to the WAN. This is of special importance when the objective of the router is to act as important piece in the security of a vehicle, so that the driver can connect with a security center, should problems arise.
The Teldat 3Ge is a unique product on the market, which has been developed by Teldat. It allows fixed line routers which are currently installed at client sites, to have a quick and effective back up system via 4G / 3G. The 3Ge is a device that is compatible with other router brands and connects to them via LAN as if it was an "external daughter board", irrespective of the distance. Hence the 3Ge can always be placed in the best coverage spot of the site.
Another Teldat product that was displayed, is the Tele-Control Module device. When connected to a Teldat router, it permits another external device to be switched on/off. This is particularly useful for cash point machines, for example. In certain occasions, by simply switching off/on a cash point machine connected to a Teldat router, it can avoid a technician being sent out to the site, to fix a very simple issue that can be solved with the Tele-Control Module. This obviously avoids the cost of the technician and it also eliminates the cost incurred of having a cash point machine for example, out of service for up to various hours.
Teldat also presented its new range of routers. The new compact device such as the Teldat V router. This is a router which has VDSL / ADSL2+ and LTE / 4G / 3G. All of its LAN ports are Gigabit Ethernet and additionally has a 10/100/1000 WAN port. Teldat presented its new mid-range M1 routers. This is a router with one daughter board, but it has the size of a compact router. One of the M1 advantages is its performance of up to 400 Mbps of clear traffic and 160 of Mbps of encrypted traffic. As the M1 has the daughter board it makes it cable of working on Fiber, Serial, E1/T1 or G.SHDSL, as well as working on 4G / 3G and WAN Ethernet simultaneously with the daughter board network.
At the Telefónica Tecno Forums in Central America Teldat has been able to touch base with a considerable number of Telefónica clients and present flexible solutions available through the partnership with Telefónica. There were clear signs of synergy, between all of those involved.
