Dana Montana’s #1 must see family amusement park will be commemorating 12 years of thrilling audiences since May 2003, with a one-of-a-kind live 90 minute Dancing Horses performance. Located near Lake Geneva and open all year round, the Dancing Horses will be also celebrating their newly re-designed in-door theatre. Every season, shows are re-vamped and costumes redesigned to help honor various American Holidays. From a Fourth of July extravaganza to a spirited Winter Holiday show (November - January), the Dancing Horses is the ultimate entertainment destination regardless of rain or snow. There are new acts, fresh talent, and even more surprises. Each show features eighteen horses; twenty are in-waiting and currently being trained. Twelve of their horses were born and hand-raised on the park grounds. The theatre hosts a wide array of family-friendly enjoyment, from a petting zoo with llamas, camels, skunks, mini-pigs, donkeys, foxes, deer, to a bird show on their 40-acre farm. The bird show is home to eight talented parrots and macaws, including the nationally acclaimed Echo of America’s Got Talent! They do tricks, talk and sing!
The Dancing Horses offers career assistance through their internship program; interns are provided with housing and trained by professional equestrian Heidi Herriot, daughter of the original Dancing Horses Trainer, John Herriot. In addition, Animal Gardens Petting Zoo provide first-hand learning experience for future veterinarians and veterinarian technicians with over 28 different varieties of animals, through May to October. Many of The Exotic animal interns have moved on to bigger and better things, from Busch Gardens to zoos scattered throughout the United States.
