Black Angus and BullsEye Bar welcomes new a marketing manager, Gary Rothlein, who recently replaced Kim Rivera in the marketing department. Mr.Rothlein will be in charge of managing all advertising and menu/collateral development. This new hire was made possible by The Peck Waylett Group, a national hospitality and recruiting company, whose approach to hospitality recruiting is much different than many headhunters. The firm does not simply fax resumes to their clients and hope the candidates get hired. Their recruiters take the time to conduct an extensive interview process, which is designed to fully explore a candidate’s experience, qualifications and character. This process includes a thorough phone interview and contacting at least three business references. The firm really know their candidates before they present them and is experienced in finding the needle in the haystack. The top restaurants in the country use The Peck Waylett Group to help scout candidates for their most difficult searches.
Gary Rothlein relocated to the Bay Area from Southern California where he was Director of Restaurant Brand Analysis at the advertising agency Mendelsohn/Zien. His role there was to oversee the media and advertising programs for Carl’s Jr., Hardee’s, Taco Bueno, and Checkers among others. Mr. Rothlein also played a key role in menu analysis and development including helping to launch the “Six Dollar Burger“for Carl’s Jr.
Gary is a steak lover as well as an avid sports fan, which will only enhance his value to the Black Angus and BullsEye Bar brands in addition to the wealth of professional experience that he brings. The restaurant is thrilled to have him as an employee, and with the work performed by The Peck Waylett Group in placing him.
