The Hanover Theatre Announces Staff Promotions and New Hires
Worcester, MA (PRWEB) November 06, 2015 -- The Hanover Theatre is proud to announce the promotions of multiple staff members, as well as three new additions.
Meghan (Patrick) Montaner, formerly operations manager and director of education, will now be focusing her efforts exclusively on the education department, which will be expanding in 2016 with the opening of a new education center at 551 Main St. She will be pioneering the theatre’s expansion with the hopes to create a space that offers after school arts programs, theatre education workshops and more. Meghan holds a master’s degree in Theatre Education from Emerson College where she received the Dean’s Fellowship Award.
David MacArthur, who was formerly assistant operations manager, will be taking over for Montaner as operations manager. David will now be responsible for overseeing the theatre’s popular volunteer program in addition to being in charge of front of house staff, bartenders, merchandise, security and more. MacArthur graduated from Bay State College in Boston with a bachelor’s degree in Entertainment Management. MacArthur has been with The Hanover Theatre since December of 2011 and will be celebrating four years with the theatre this coming December.
Janine Diliberto, director of finance & human resources, has also expanded her position at the theatre. Janine will now be in charge of overseeing the theatre’s box office as well as the operations department. Diliberto graduated from UMass Boston with a bachelor’s of arts in Management and worked as a bookkeeper for various small businesses for many years. This past June, she celebrated seven years with The Hanover Theatre.
Monica Wagner Elefterion joined The Hanover Theatre for the Performing Arts as the marketing specialist earlier this year. She brings her passion for arts and culture and her 25 years of marketing and design experience to the theatre’s marketing and PR team. Monica previously held marketing and public relations positions at The Worcester Art Museum, The Central Mass. Convention and Visitors Bureau, the American Repertory Theatre and the Philadelphia Drama Guild. She holds a degree in communicative arts from the Art Institute of Philadelphia and studied fine arts at The Ringling College of Art and Design in Sarasota, FL.
Joining Meghan in the education department is Kelly Rourke, former public relations assistant at The Hanover Theatre. Kelly will be taking on the role of education assistant, assisting in the development and expansion of the Education department with the new educational space at 551 Main Street. She is currently studying at Clark University, pursuing her bachelor’s degree in Cultural Studies and Communications with minors in Business Management and Theater Arts. She has been in the marketing & PR department at the theatre for two years. Additionally, she has worked for the theatre’s most popular education program, the Youth Summer Program, for the past three years as Dance Assistant.
Replacing Rourke as public relations assistant is Lillian Irwin. Lilly recently graduated from Assumption College with a Master’s degree in Business Administration. A former intern in the marketing & PR department at The Hanover Theatre, she is excited to be back working part-time as PR assistant.
