The Meadows Alumni Association to Host Alumni Workshop in Scottsdale on December 17
Wickenburg, AZ (PRWEB) December 13, 2013 -- The Meadows Alumni Association is pleased to host an alumni workshop in Scottsdale, Ariz. for alumni on Dec. 17, 2013, from 7:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. at the Chaparral Suites Resort, East Ballroom, 5001 N. Scottsdale Road. Colleen DeRango, MA, LISAC, SEP, will lead the discussion on “Somatic Inspired Recovery... Language in Movement.”
DeRango is an equine therapist at The Meadows Wickenburg and a facilitator of the Spirit: A Somatic Equine Workshop. Combining The Meadows Model, Somatic Experiencing® (SE), mindfulness, and natural horsemanship, this cutting-edge workshop allows for a distinct healing experience. The program consists of experiential activities with horses addressing self-esteem, boundaries, honoring reality, wants and needs, emotional regulation, and spontaneity.
