The Meadows trauma and addiction treatment center is an exhibitor at the 2013 California Society of Addiction Medicine (CSAM) State of the Art in Addiction Medicine Conference on October 16 – 19 at the Sheraton San Diego Hotel and Marina, in San Diego, Calif.

Plenary session topics include Improving the Dialogue Between Addiction Medicine and Primary Care, Research For the Clinician, Managing Prescription Drug Abuse and Pain, Engagement and Relapse Prevention, and Best Clinical Practices.

CSAM is a professional society representing approximately 400 physicians dedicated to increasing access and improving the quality of addiction treatment, educating physicians and the public, supporting research and prevention, and promoting the appropriate role of physicians in the care of patients with addictions. CSAM is a State Chapter of the American Society of Addiction Medicine (ASAM).
