The Oliver Group, a leadership consulting firm, is delivering a leadership development course designed for long term and other healthcare executives on Jan. 16, in collaboration with the Greater Cincinnati Health Council.
The course will be facilitated by Mark Mueller, a consultant, trainer and certified coach for The Oliver Group at the Greater Cincinnati Health Council headquarters on 2100 Sherman Ave. The course will be from 8:30 - 4:30 and will offer professionals six continuing education units (CEU) from the Ohio Department of Aging's Board of Executives of Long-term Services & Supports. According to Mary Duffey, vice president, member services and programs at the Greater Cincinnati Health Council, "this new offering satisfies both a need for prepared leaders at our regional healthcare facilities, and it also offers desirable recertification credits to our members." The Oliver Group has been a member of the Greater Cincinnati Health Council since August 2013.
Mark Mueller, facilitator, plans to cover a variety of leadership topics relevant to the rapidly changing environment of healthcare. "This course serves as an introduction to many leadership issues today, from change management to leading direct reports to higher levels of performance. We will leave the participants with many takeaways that they can use immediately in their organizations."
