Titan LED Adds Several USA Made Products to DesignLights Consortium’s (DLC) Qualified Products List
Simi Valley, California (PRWEB) September 30, 2013 -- Titan LED, a leading US-based manufacturer and OEM that specializes in innovative LED lighting solutions that are up to 80% more efficient vs. traditional lighting, announced today that several more of its USA Made products have been approved for inclusion on DesignLights Consortium’s (DLC) Qualified Products List.
Titan LED’s latest batch of DLC certified products, which include (but are not limited to) the 50W Shoebox, 98W Shoebox, 146W Shoebox, and 285W Shoebox achieved the DLC’s high standards for performance, quality, energy efficiency and commercial lighting design thanks to a recent decision by the company to upgrade to the Philips’ “Luxeon T” chip, which provides best-in-industry efficacy and more lumen output. Titan LED continues to expand their DLC certified lines, and expects 7-9 additional products to make the Qualified Products List in the next 30 days.
“Once again, we’re delighted that so many of our leading-edge US products have achieved DLC certification, and are included on their coveted Qualified Products List,” commented Titan LED’s President, CEO and Founder Brian Hennessy. “This is a very important milestone, because utility companies look to the DLC when it comes to approving incentives. As with our many other products that have met and exceeded the DLC’s extremely high standards, our customers know that they’re getting energy efficient, high performance LED lighting solutions that make sense now – and tomorrow.”
