When author Todd Schaus was a child in 1978, his father wrote the original “Soccer is for Me” to help him learn about the sport. Schaus now has a daughter that is passionate about soccer, for whom he has written the recently released modern version of, “Soccer is for Me” (published by WestBow Press).

A fun story of a girl and her soccer team is juxtaposed alongside educational information about soccer. Written for younger soccer players and their parents, “Soccer is for Me” offers a resource for familiarizing oneself with the joy of the sport and its basic terminology.
