Tommy Middaugh and Travel To Go Once Again Sponsor Kern Rock N’ Blues Fest
SAN DIEGO, CA (PRWEB) August 25, 2015 -- The Kern Rock N’ Blues Fest is ready to jam in Kernville, Calif., in September and Tommy Middaugh is once again sponsoring the event.
Tommy Middaugh is the vice president of Travel To Go, a company that is considered among the best vacation fulfillment providers worldwide. Middaugh and his team said they are proud to sponsor the Kern Rock N’ Blues Fest for the fourth year in a row.
The annual event is scheduled to take place at the Frandy Campground from Sept. 24 to 27 with the beautiful Central California Mountains as its backdrop. And it is not just another music festival, either. Kern Rock N’ Blues is a fundraiser to assist the construction of the Bakersfield National Cemetery Memorial Walkway.
“We are proud to give to such a worthy cause,” said Tommy Middaugh of Travel To Go. “Our veterans have given so much; it is only right that people give something back to them.”
The four-day event actually gets started a day earlier with a kick-off party on Sept. 23 at the Kernville Saloon with a set by the amazing guitarist Maxx Cabello Jr. Then on Sept. 24, the VIP Party is scheduled to begin at 1 p.m. During this must-see party, attendees will be able to visit with the artists, sponsors and promoters. VIP tickets include both a barbecue lunch and raffle tickets exclusive to on-line ticket buyers. The raffle will give away prizes such as event T-shirts, artist shirts, CDs from many of the festival artists, and items from many of the festival sponsors. The raffle is only available to online VIP ticket buyers.
Tommy Middaugh believes even people who decide not to get the VIP tickets will have a great time. There are nine bands already slated to perform. These acts include the John Clifton Blues Band, Red Lotus Revue, Barry Levinson with the Jay Edwards Band, Orphan Jon and the Abandoned, Barry G. and Grease Fire, Chase Walker Band, Diver Down, and Betty Rose.
People coming from outside of Kern to be a part of the festivities may camp at one of the various campgrounds in the area, shares Tommy Middaugh of Travel To Go. Camping spaces Frandy Campground are already sold out, but there are others nearby, such as Camp Kernville, Camp James and Rivernook Campground.
