Peter Bennett Presents at the 2015 Associated Grocers of New England’s (AGNE) Annual Trade Show
Boston, Massachusetts (PRWEB) March 11, 2015 -- The Bennett Law Firm is pleased to announce that Peter Bennett will present a seminar at the Associated Grocers of New England’s Annual Trade Show, at the Radisson Hotel in Manchester, New Hampshire on March 18th. Entitled “How to Navigate the National Labor Relations Board’s Increased Intrusion into the Workplace”, Bennett will present to owners and executives from over 200 retail grocers and convenience stores spanning nine states throughout the Northeast that will be attending the event.
The seminar is taking place to address current legal developments establishing liability for non-union employers with regard to social media and general workplace policies.
Bennett will review recent National Labor Relations Board (NLRB) decisions and guidance and apply them to every day issues with which retailers must grapple. With its recent activist stance, the NLRB must now be a daily concern for the non-union employer, and this program will provide practical guidance in issue spotting and resolution, with the active participation of attendees. The program’s goal is to help attendees walk away from the program with practical tools to reduce their employer’s exposure to unfair labor practice charges and other employee complaints.
