Collins & Lacy, P.C. Mediation Practice Expands
Columbia, South Carolina (PRWEB) June 24, 2014 -- Collins & Lacy, P.C. shareholder Scott Wallinger has been certified by The South Carolina Supreme Court’s Board of Arbitration and Mediator Certification to be a Circuit Court Mediator.
“While the civil jury trial is and always will be a vital part of our civil justice system, there’s been a major shift,” said Wallinger. “Alternate dispute resolution and mediation in particular is the way most cases will now be concluded, and I’m glad to be able to assist parties and attorneys in that process.”
Wallinger is the chair of the Collins & Lacy professional liability practice group. His law career has focused on complex litigation, representing healthcare providers, physicians, nurses, pharmacists, financial and investment advisors, attorneys, insurance brokers and agents. He has been recognized by Greater Columbia Business Monthly as being one of the Midlands’ Legal Elite.
With Wallinger’s recent certification, more than 25 percent of Collins & Lacy attorneys are now certified mediators and are strategically located throughout South Carolina to provide mediation services.
