For 50 years this festival has been celebrating the many flavors of America’s favorite fermented beverage. Bring the kids to the Kinderplatz and dance to some great live music at the best authentic Oktoberfest commemoration in the U.S on September 25-27. Housed in a historic pavilions of over 100,000 square feet, this event will be happening even in poor weather.
3. National Apple Harvest Festival, Pennsylvania

Occurring during the first two full weekends in October (October 3-4 and 10-11), the National Apple Harvest Festival has proven to be a great place for families.
