Ubiqus US, an industry leader in document and meeting services, including transcription, translation, interpretation, and audience response, is pleased to announce today that it has achieved ISO 9001:2008 certification. The certification process included comprehensive audits covering every aspect of the business’ operations. Certification is awarded exclusively to companies who demonstrate effective and documented protocols for continuous improvement and communication with customers regarding service quality and complaint mitigation. "Any company that has undergone the certification process knows that achieving ISO 9001:2008 certification is demanding," said Joanne Bove, Chief Executive Officer of Ubiqus US. "Each individual in our operations must be wholly dedicated to the pursuit of quality. By scrutinizing our processes at every level, we assure that our clients are receiving superior customer service and the highest quality deliverables."
ISO 9001:2008 is a quality management system standard that was developed by the International Organization for Standardization, which is an association of governmental and non-governmental organizations from many countries. The ISO 9001:2008 standard is utilized to certify quality management systems that focus on continuous improvement, customer satisfaction and the active involvement of both management and employees in a process-based approach.
“Providing the highest quality, most professional services possible to our clients has always been our goal; our ISO 9001:2008 certification demonstrates that we take this goal seriously and are committed to continuously improving our services,” Joanne Bove said.

About ISO 9001
ISO 9001 is an International Quality Management System Standard that specifies requirements within which an organization demonstrates its ability to consistently provide product or service to meet customer and legal requirements, enhancing customer satisfaction and opening the way to continual improvement. The requirements are intended to be applicable to all organizations, regardless of type, size or product/service provided. Globally more than one million organizations have implemented ISO 9001 Management Systems (50,000 organizations in North America).
ISO 9001 was originally published in 1987 by the International Organization for Standardization, a worldwide federation of national standards bodies, headquartered in Geneva, Switzerland. The Organization was founded in 1946 to develop a common set of standards for manufacturing, trade and communications. Today more than 150 countries are members, each with a representative. The representative for the United States is the American National Standards Institute (ANSI). In addition to ISO 9001, more than 17,000 other ISO standards exist. ISO 9001:2008 is the current version of this standard.
