CyberFed Announces Uncle Jimmy’s Cybersecurity Challenges
Pomona, CA (PRWEB) September 15, 2015 -- Cybersecurity competitions are becoming mainstream in academia and industry to help validate skills in real world scenarios. The Cybersecurity Competition Federation (CyberFed) is showcasing Uncle Jimmy’s Weekly Challenges in “The CyberFed Show” to engage audiences and test skills through weekly puzzles.
“Uncle Jimmy’s Challenges give CyberFed the ability to show how cybersecurity challenges are cool and exciting,” said Dr. Jason Pittman, co-host of the show. “In the 20th century people did crossword puzzles. In the 21st century hip kids are doing cybersecurity challenges.”
Partnering with Uncle Jimmy's Challenges is a great opportunity for “The CyberFed Show” and brings a unique flavor of cybersecurity challenges to the table. They resonate well with the cybersecurity community and keep it fun with a New York Italian persona on Twitter—@YourUncleJimmy. These tests benefit those already competing as well as those looking to get their start in the field.
Each task is labeled by difficulty level. Newbies to cybersecurity competitions are exposed to “easy” and “medium” challenges while the pros can experience “hard” and “legendary.” Anyone can test their cybersecurity savvy by going to unclejimmyschallenges.com.
