VIAGlobal Announces Strategic Alliance with Chile’s Imagine Lab to form Imagine U.S. Access and with Argentina’s Nerdcube to form Nerdcube Express
Miami, Florida (PRWEB) March 29, 2017 -- VIAGlobal, the Miami and San Francisco-based launchpad that helps startups evaluate and execute against their U.S. market potential, has entered into strategic partnerships with Santiago, Chile’s Imagine Lab, one of the top technology accelerators in the region and Latin America’s only Microsoft Innovation Center outside of Brazil, and Nerdcube, the San Juan, Argentina-based regional accelerator.
Imagine U.S. Access and Nerdcube Express will provide Latin American technology startups with a structured U.S. integration program designed to establish their U.S. operations, scale their business, raise additional capital, and seek potential partnerships or exits.
"We are very excited to work with Imagine Lab and Nerdcube companies to provide them with a capital-efficient soft landing solution for international expansion into the United States as they seek to grow their businesses,” said Julian Sevillano, CEO and co-founder of VIAGlobal. “Both Imagine Lab and Nerdcube have very rigorous and comprehensive programs and the quality of the startups they work with are world class. We know many of them are ready to expand into the U.S. market following their success across Latin America and we look forward to working with each of them to accelerate their business models.”
With offices in Miami and San Francisco, VIAGlobal works with international startup accelerators, incubators and venture capital funds to find early stage technology companies and provide them with the support needed to expand beyond their home countries and into the U.S. market.
VIAGlobal’s Virtual Presence Program provides an economical solution for companies that want to expedite a commercial presence in the U.S. without moving personnel immediately. Participating companies also have access to a suite services across varying support functions that include marketing, accounting and tax services, vendor certification, sales management and regulatory compliance.
The more robust U.S. Establishment Program provides 12-months of support for a founder moving to the U.S. for international expansion. The program helps startups evaluate their U.S. market potential and then integrates those companies into the U.S. through turnkey operational solutions that feature immigration, real estate, legal, banking, marketing and other essential professional services.
“Our Virtual Presence Program is designed to help international companies buy or sell in the U.S. at a very low cost,” said Rich de la Rosa, COO and co-founder of VIAGlobal. “We allow them to engage their clients as a U.S. company without having to be here. Our U.S. Establishment Program is designed to help startups demonstrate traction in the U.S. while commercializing their product quickly and efficiently in order to successfully position them to seek additional capital.”
The successful launch of the partnership between Imagine Labs and VIAGlobal was achieved over the last year with support from Microsoft and CORFO, a global innovation and entrepreneurial initiative of the Chilean government, in addition to the LATAM Ventures Club. These were key factors that VIAGlobal identified in evaluating the partnership as it provides access to quality startups poised for successful expansion into the U.S. market.
Based in the agricultural and winemaking heartland of Argentina, NerdCube’s unique acceleration program feeds off the engineering talent from nearby universities, which was a key component to establishing the partnership. The companies being built in the San Juan region are now solving local problems with global applications.
“By leveraging our internal resources as well as our network of trusted partners, VIAGlobal looks forward to working with Chile’s Imagine Lab and Argentina’s Nerdcube in the formation of Imagine U.S. Access and Nerdcube Express,” said Sevillano. “It’s going to be exciting to see some of Chile’s and Argentina’s best and brightest startups finally have the access and the ability to grow in the U.S. market.”
