Beginning with the September term, Vatterott College in Cleveland, located at 5025 East Royalton Rd., will offer night classes to students enrolled in its Medical Assistant Occupational Specialist diploma program. Classes will run between 6 to 10 p.m. Monday through Thursday. This comprehensive program is designed to prepare students to pursue employment as an entry-level medical assistant.
The 40-week Medical Assistant Occupational Specialist diploma program provides students with hands-on training in courses such as phlebotomy, pre-physical exam preparation, radiology procedures, physical therapy, electrocardiograms, clinical instruments, medical writing and transportation, medication mathematics and much more. Also, each student will also complete further medical assistant training through an externship. Students graduating from this program will have the skills necessary to pursue employment in the medical field working in both administrative and clinical settings.
