Renton, WA (PRWEB) May 13, 2014

Versio by ScribeRight (Versio) announces their selection as the solution provider for legacy data migration in the deployment of the Epic Electronic Health Record (EHR) system at UW Medicine.

UW Medicine will be bringing their new EHR online within their regional clinics in May 2014 and has engaged Versio to provide a solution that will bring critical patient data into the new system prior to deployment. Medications, allergies, immunizations, and problems are the data sets that will be migrated into Epic with a goal of enhancing patient safety and improved clinical decision-making, while allowing physicians to be more productive. Versio’s history of producing complete and accurate records led to UW Medicine’s decision to award them the project as a result of a lengthy RFP process.

“Most migration companies cannot capture all of the data,” said CEO Lisa Pike, “and in the conversion process they fall short of translating the real meaning from the legacy record. We are pleased that the leadership of UW Medicine recognizes how our service will ensure the safety of their patients and will enhance physician adoption of the new electronic health record by providing 100% data capture and near-perfect accuracy. We call it ‘No data left behind.’”
