Pelham, AL (PRWEB) December 15, 2013 -- Vulcan Termite and Pest Control, Inc. is now collecting warm winter clothing for the Coats 4 Kids charity event. Radio station 97.7 The Peach has organized this year’s Coats 4 Kids event, enlisting the help of other local businesses in an effort to collect as many pieces of apparel possible.

Fellow Coats 4 Kids sponsors include:

• Neighborhood CPAP
• Columbiana Family Dentistry, Dr. Nettles
• Oak Mountain Emporium in Pelham
• Superior Septic in Columbiana

Vulcan Termite and Pest Control is urging everyone to get involved with this worthy cause during the holidays. “When we heard Coats 4 Kids was looking for sponsors we knew right away that we wanted to do our part to help,”said David Price, owner of Vulcan Termite and Pest Control, Inc. “Our goal is to make sure all of our local kids and their families are warm this Christmas.”

Gently used and new clothing can be brought by the locations of any sponsor between now and December 20th. Vulcan Termite and Pest Control technicians can also provide donation pickups if they are scheduled to be in a nearby area. Items that are being collected include anything that can keep families in need warm through the winter months:

• Coats
• Blankets
• Gloves
• Scarves
• Hats
• Socks
