WarrantChecks.org is launching an overhaul of their software and hardware in order to make improvements to the site in the coming year, the company announced yesterday.
“We had a great year in 2013, but we know we can do better,” a WarrantChecks.org spokesman said. “We want to give people the results they want faster. We also want to streamline the search process so that people can use our service as easily as possible.”
The improvements are the result of a customer service survey conducted during November, he said.
“Some people were logging off before they got their reports because it was taking too long for them to download,” the WarrantChecks.org spokesman said. “So we want to make sure the reports appear on their screen before they give up on us.”
Some other WarrantChecks.org customers found the search process confusing, he said.
“We had several steps built into our search process that we thought would help people, but it ended up making it seem too complex,” he said. “So, we had our team test out several different ways to manage the search process and discovered that the new way is much easier for most of our customers.”
It is expected to take several weeks for the IT department to upgrade all of the servers and software, he said.
“This should all be up and running by the first week in January,” he said.
