Warrior Gateway CEO Named to the Inaugural Class of Presidio Institute’s Cross Sector Leaders Fellowship
Arlington, VA (PRWEB) March 28, 2014 -- This week, Presidio Institute named Warrior Gateway’s CEO Devin B. Holmes to the inaugural class of their Cross Sector Leadership Fellows Program. Holmes is one of the 24 professionals from business, nonprofit and government agencies named to the inaugural class, which will kick off at the Presidio this April.
In partnership with the White House Office of Social Innovation and Civic Participation, Office of Personnel Management and the Presidio Trust, the Cross Sector Leadership Fellows Program will develop the 24 fellows into stronger leaders that effectively collaborate across sectors. Through the fellowship program, Warrior Gateway’s CEO hopes to increase the organization’s collaboration efforts with nonprofits, businesses and government agencies in order to find ways to better support our nation’s veterans.
Warrior Gateway’s mission is to connect veterans and their families to over 200,000 local non-profit and government support organizations. By using innovative technology solutions, Warrior Gateway serves to fill the gap between service providers and those in need while also identifying strengths and areas of improvement within the military-focused nonprofit community.
“I am thrilled to be apart of the inaugural class of the Presidio Institute’s Cross Sector Leadership Fellows program. As a veteran focused nonprofit, Warrior Gateway is dedicated to serving a population whose leadership, service and sacrifice are unparalleled,” said Devin B. Holmes, CEO of Warrior Gateway. “I am eager to utilize this experience to elevate the level of service Warrior Gateway is able to provide our veteran community."
Warrior Gateway believes collaboration between corporations, non-profit and government agencies is a critical way to solve issues facing the military community. The Cross Sector Leadership Fellows program will serve as a unique opportunity for Warrior Gateway to engage with innovative leaders from nonprofits, businesses and government agencies to cultivate change in communities large and small across the country.
