Dr. Nabil El-Halawany invites his readers to join him in exploring the depths of the heart and mind, where they will be taken by the tides of passion. Feelings flow with the author’s prose and poetry, rippling and powerfully surging in overwhelming yet soothing “Waves of Emotion” (published by Xlibris).

El-Halawany gives his readers elegant yet simple poems, rhymes and verses that convey the highs and lows, ebbs and flows of the human condition. Cool ruminations of the mind, fiery outpourings of the heart, then the solace and respite of the soul’s innermost sanctum, a place shaded from the gaze of the world - these are the unseen fathoms El-Halawany navigates. A descent into the subconscious with words to be read and yet, at the same time, convey wordlessly and deeply meanings familiar, memories treasured and sacred, feelings unforgettable and resonant within a person’s very core.

“I sang yesterday and I am still singing. People did not see my art yet, I put it on the pages of my book, all my dreams and my sorrows,” El-Halawany says. “Every word will show the readers what was running in my deep feelings.”

With El-Halawany’s passionate poetry, readers will delve into an ocean of feelings, the shifting currents of the heart and mind, and drift on “Waves of Emotion.”
