New Novel Follows Two Pilots Going Through Boot Camp, Pilot Training, Disaster During World War II
TUSCON, Ariz (PRWEB) July 14, 2017 -- Based on real-life events told to him by his now-deceased wife about her great uncle’s rescue, Jerry Maxwell Rowe’s novel “When Vibrations Cease” (published by Archway Publishing) follows two pilots going through boot camp, pilot training and disaster during World War II.
Rowe hopes that from this book readers will learn and appreciate the training people go through before they can become pilots in the military.
The story begins when two teenagers, Christopher Austin from Nevada and Michael Edwards from Georgia, meet at a boot camp in the Army Air Corps in the early 1940s. They become friends and after passing the requirements, both decide to attend a pilot training school in Marana, Arizona. The book tells of the experiences Christopher and Michael share in training and of the crash that almost took their lives.
Rowe believes that this book will have appeal for many different types of people: World War II buffs, plane enthusiasts and people who are fascinated by plane crashes.
