Mark Wagar is President of Heritage Medical Systems, an affiliate of the Heritage Provider Network (HPN). Heritage is one of the nation’s leading physician-led healthcare solutions organizations. HPN provides medical care for over 1,000,000 patient/ members, and an affiliate is one of the largest Pioneer ACO’s in the United States., Previously he was President and CEO of Empire BlueCross BlueShield, New York’s largest health insurer covering nearly 6 million people, and was a Senior Vice President in WellPoint, Inc. Prior to Empire Mr. Wagar held leadership positions at Caremark, CIGNA HealthCare, and provider owned managed care organizations, as well as roles in hospital management, physician practice management, and diagnostic services in market leading organizations based in Ohio, California, Texas, and New York. He currently serves on the Boards of The New York Academy of Medicine and TurningPoint.

Tony Wright is a partner in HQ Investments, a private investment firm in South Bend, Indiana and Austin, Texas where he is responsible for making and managing investments in private businesses. The HQ portfolio includes companies in health care services, drug development, medical devices, and software. Previously, he was the CFO of HQ Investments’ predecessor, the Health Quest Group. Health Quest built, owned and operated senior housing and health care facilities, along with institutional pharmacy, rehab therapy and long-term care software businesses. Prior to Health Quest, he served in CFO roles in real estate development and oil and gas firms and was on the audit staff at Arthur Andersen & Co. He currently serves on the boards of HeatGenie in Austin and Harvesters Reaching the Nations, Inc. in Dallas.
