In a strategic move to expand its presence in the Southeast and Midwest, employee benefits and human resources solutions company Winston Benefits has added three seasoned professionals to its business development team. Meredith Beam and Daniel Cobb will lead efforts to build business in the Southeast with the addition of our new Atlanta office, and Brent Cotton will focus on expanding the company’s client base in our new Minneapolis office.

Beam brings more than 10 years of experience in the employee benefits industry as a technical expert for employee benefits administration, communication and enrollment services. She will focus on helping companies maximize their employee benefits dollars as they address changes brought about by the Affordable Care Act. Beam also will lead initiatives in the Southeast to both educate and inform employers about cost-effective and efficient benefits options designed to support their business goals and engage their employees.
A true southerner born in Alabama and raised in Georgia, Cobb has worked with large and midsize employers to plan and implement long-term benefits administration technology solutions and services, and enrollment and communications strategies. He will work with clients to find technology solutions that best meet their specific needs, whether that entails implementing the full proprietary, Web-based Winston Benefits administration application, BenefitInsite, or identifying ways to wrap Winston Benefits enrollment and administration services around an existing platform.
Cotton joins Winston with more than 15 years of experience helping employers design strategies and solutions to communicate the complex language of insurance to their employees. Together with his rich understanding of the benefits technology landscape, Cotton is well equipped to help Winston’s clients achieve the results they seek.
